The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges is the regional body for the accreditation of degree granting higher education institutions in the Southern states.

Counseling - Rank I

Admission to Morehead State University (see MSU admission requirements).

Admission Requirements:

1) GRE = 800+ or a 33 raw score on the Miller Analogies Test
2) GPA of 3.5 in the master's degree
3) Provisional certification in counseling

Program Requirements:

1) Students entering the Rank I program for guidance counselors must successfully complete an oral exit examination and maintain a 3.0 GPA
