Course Reserves

Some faculty choose to place course-related material on reserve for their students. For more information, contact Charles Maynard at 606-783-5103. Visit Course Reserves Information for instruction on placing items on Course Reserve.


Electronic Reserve Documents

Electronic Reserve documents are accessed through the Library catalog.

  1. Choose your professor and/or course and click "Search".
  2. Select the article you need by clicking on the number to the left of the article title.
  3. To read the article, click on the Full-Text link, and the article will open in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  4. Enter your MSU ID number and password.

In order to view electronic reserve materials, one must have a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) and a copy of Adobe Reader.

Traditional Reserve Items

Traditional reserve items (books, DVDs, CDs, etc.) may be checked out at the Circulation Desk.

Reserve items are searched using these criteria:

  • Class Name (GOVT.)
  • Class Number (211)
  • Instructor's Name (Doe, John)
  • Title of the Reserve Item (Homework: Chapters 1 & 2)
