We want to make sure that all prospective students have the opportunity to learn more about the Craft Academy and Morehead State University’s campus. You may request information online or even visit our beautiful campus in person.
 

Prospective student Tours

Tours are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. by contacting us at craftacademy@moreheadstate.edu. You may request a tour online. A Craft Academy enrollment services counselor will contact you to confirm your date and time or to find an alternate time that works for you.
 

School group visits

To submit a group visit request, contact us at craftacademy@moreheadstate.edu. We will work with you to meet your group’s needs. Craft Academy representatives are also available to visit your school (contact Sunshine Stamper at jl.stamper@moreheadstate.edu or 606-783-5102).


Open House

At MSU’s Open House events, students interested in attending the Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics will:

  • Speak with engaging faculty from MSU’s academic programs.
  • Meet Craft Academy staff and current Craft Academy students.
  • Learn about the Craft Academy program and our STEM+X curriculum.
  • Participate in a Q & A session with Craft staff and students.
  • Take a tour of MSU’s beautiful campus and Grote-Thompson Hall, where Craft Academy students live.

Craft Academy/Gatton Academy Collaborative events

Students are invited to attend one of the collaborative events between the Craft Academy and the Gatton Academy for Mathematics and Science, where they can learn about the opportunities both academies offer to exceptional high school juniors and seniors who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Both academies will hold a question and answer session at the conclusion of the event.

  • Early College and Career Center (Hardon County) - Sept. 18, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. (Eastern time)
  • Franklin County Board of Education - Sept. 20, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Pike County Central High School - Sept. 25, 5 p.m. - 7  p.m.
  • Boyd County High School - Sept. 27, 5 p.m. - 7 P.M.
  • McCraken County High School - Oct. 1, 6 - 8 P.M.
  • Southwestern High School (Pulaski County) - Oct. 9, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
