Personal Training

Separate yourself from the crowds and work one-on-one with an experienced personal trainer. A personal trainer will develop a workout specifically for you while you learn proper technique and develop life-changing goals.
 

Registration

  1. Become an RWC member.
  2. Submit the Personal Fitness Training Registration form online or request a paper copy from the RWC Member Services Desk.
  3. If applicable, return your written physician's clearance to the RWC Member Services Desk (fax to 606-783-5084).
  4. If you do not request a specific person, you will be matched up with a trainer according to your training goals, special needs, schedule and gender preference.
  5. Make payments in advance at the RWC Member Services Desk.

Physical fitness Assessment & history

Once you have been assigned a trainer, you must complete a physical fitness assessment and history. The baseline data collected during the assessment will be used to personalize your prescribed exercise regimen. This data includes your blood pressure, resting heart rate, height, weight, body composition, flexibility, upper and lower body strength, endurance and cardiovascular fitness, and aerobic capacity. Once you have completed the physical fitness assessment, you will consult with your trainer to assess your health and physical activity history and goals.

Once you have completed the physical fitness assessment and history, your trainer will schedule your first training session.

The physical fitness assessment and first hour of personal training are priced together:
  • Students - $30
  • All Other Members - $50

Once you have completed the physical fitness assessment and history and your first hour of training, you may choose from the following packages:

Student:
  • 3 (1-hour sessions) - $45
  • 5 (1-hour sessions) - $75
  • 10 (1-hour sessions) - $150
Student, 2-Person Buddy Training:
  • 3 (1-hour buddy sessions) - $39 per person
  • 5 (1-hour buddy sessions) - $55 per person
  • 10 (1-hour buddy sessions) - $100 per person

Non-Student Member:
  • 3 (1-hour sessions) - $75
  • 5 (1-hour sessions) - $115
  • 10 (1-hour sessions) - $210
