A criminology degree prepares you for a career in law enforcement, probation and parole, corrections, substance abuse treatment, and the court system. These careers provide you with the opportunity to make a positive impact in your community by working with victims and offenders, as well as the general public.  If you feel strongly committed to making your community a safer place to live, then a degree in criminology might be the right choice for you.
