American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA)
Students in this national graphic design club meet twice monthly. Each year the group raises money to pay for educational trips and conferences in Lexington, Louisville and Cincinnati. The group also travels to New York each spring and attends the AIGA National conference every two years. These trips provide valuable networking opportunities between students and design firms.
Club membership fee is $50, students may register and pay their fees on the AIGA website. MSU is a part of the Ohio/Cincinnati chapter.

Each year the organization participates in the Empty Bowls project to benefit area sites providing food to those in need. The organization also invites guest speakers and ceramic artists from all over to speak with students about their work. Follow the Guild on Facebook.
National Art Education Association
The MSU Art Education club is a student chapter of the National Art Education Association (NAEA) and the Kentucky Art Education Association (KyAEA). The photography club is new to MSU's campus. Members meet twice a month and will fundraise to go on at least one trip per semester. Most recently, photography club members have traveled to art galleries in Cincinnati and members also attended a photography conference in New Orleans. Membership dues are $25.
