Earning a degree from MSU's Department of English will provide you with a liberal arts background that can serve as a gateway for any number of career options upon your graduation. Many of our students go on to pursue careers in teaching, law, professional or technical writing, the arts and other fields in which expert writing and reading skills are valued.
