Management Information Systems - MS

The School of Business Administration offers an online  Master of Science in Management Information Systems (MSMIS). The MSMIS provides an interdisciplinary approach to preparing graduates with an expertise in management information systems. The program structure allows students to complete an MIS core, with information systems graduate course electives based upon individual career goals. It is designed to meet the need for information systems leaders in a broad range of disciplines including business, education, government, health care, science, and other disciplines. The program provides a balance of practical application and theoretical concepts while developing technical, organizational, and discipline-specific knowledge and skills.

The MSMIS program design enables graduates to create, plan and implement information systems essential in today's business world. Our alumni are now employed in organizations throughout the world as well as teaching at community colleges throughout Kentucky. A number of our graduates have been admitted to prestigious MIS doctoral programs and are now teaching at major universities.

The program is open to full and part - time students. Designed to meet the needs of working professionals as well as full - time graduate students, the program offers a flexible delivery format that combines both online and hybrid arrangements of courses.
