Neuroscience is the study of the structure, development, function, chemistry and pathology of the human nervous system. Morehead State's Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience program provides an interdisciplinary education, weaving together courses in biology, math and psychology to broaden your understanding of the different variables that effect human behavior. Our program has faculty affiliates from a variety of departments including chemistry, biology and more. Students who enroll in the program will receive introductory and advanced overviews of neuroscience and will learn about the effects of drugs, gender and aging on the brain, along with a variety of other topics related to neuroscience. Students will also take electives in behavioral/social science, health science, physical science and life science to gain a broad, multi-faceted understanding of neuroscience.
