Morehead State University’s School of Business Administration has announced that its Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems has moved totally online beginning the fall 2014 semester.

The Computer Information Systems (CIS) program will prepare students with the organizational and technical abilities needed for professional information technology positions in contemporary organizations. CIS students will learn to assess business needs and develop appropriate solutions and are provided with programming, database, data communications, and project management skills, along with learning how to plan and implement information systems in organizations.

Graduates are employed as systems analysts, applications programmers, Web developers, network administrators, and information systems consultants.

This new online completer program in CIS will permit a student to finish all upper division information systems and business coursework via the internet, with courses rotated such that the BBA degree can be earned within two years (assuming appropriate business foundation and general education coursework has been completed prior to acceptance).

Other online business programs include Accounting, Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship, and General Business.

All of Morehead State University's business programs are accredited by AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
