MSU mourns professor Deeno Golding

Due to inclement weather, MSU will be closed on Jan. 17. The memorial reception for Deeno Golding has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Claypool-Young Gallery.

A memorial reception in honor of Deeno Golding, Associate Professor of Art & Design will be held in the Claypool-Young Art Gallery on Wednesday, Jan. 17, from 3 to 5 p.m.

All MSU faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends are welcome.


MSU associate professor of art Deeno Golding passed away on Friday, Dec. 22.

Deeno Alexander Golding, 47, of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, passed away on Dec. 22, 2017, in Kissimmee, Florida, while visiting his family for the holidays. 

He was a tenured university professor in Art & Design at Morehead State University. He also taught for several summer arts programs including the Arts Academy in Guanxi, China, and Kentucky's Governor's Scholar Program (GSP) where he gave high school juniors direction for 13 years. View complete obituary
