Emergency and Crisis Services

Life-Threatening Situations

In any immediate life-threatening situation, such as suicide attempt or alcohol/drug overdose, call 911 (Office of Public Safety 783-2035) or proceed immediately to the St. Claire Medical Center Emergency Room located on Route 32 in Morehead (phone: 606-783-6500).

On-Call Crisis Services

On-call crisis response is rotated among the professional staff of the MSU Counseling Center for emergency situations that may occur after business hours. This service is for emergencies only and is not for "after hours" counseling.
