    • Nursing - AAS

      The Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADNP) is a program of study leading to an Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) Degree with an area of concentration in nursing. The program combines general education studies with nursing theory and clinical education. The program is designed to prepare graduates for the role of the registered nurse. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The ADNP offers courses at both the Morehead Campus and the Mt. Sterling Extended Campus via interactive television (ITV).
      The program has a selective admission process and limited enrollment. Students are admitted twice yearly, with classes beginning in January and August. The qualified applicant must meet prerequisites and admission criteria as outlined in the ADNP Admission Criteria. Following admission into the program, the program consists of four semesters of full-time course work including classroom, laboratory and clinical learning experiences.

    • Nursing - AAS, Paramedic to RN Track

      The Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADNP) is a program of study leading to an Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) Degree with an area of concentration in nursing. The program combines general education studies with nursing theory and clinical education. The program is designed to prepare graduates for the role of the registered nurse. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The ADNP offers courses at both the Morehead Campus and the Mt. Sterling Extended Campus via interactive television (ITV).

      The program has a selective admission process and limited enrollment. Students are admitted twice yearly, with classes beginning in January and August. The qualified applicant must meet prerequisites and admission criteria as outlined in the ADNP Paramedic-ADN Track Admission Criteria. Applicants must hold an active paramedic national certification, with no restrictions and have an equivalent of one year of experience. Following successful completion of the NURA 111: Paramedic/ADN Transition course and admission into the program, the program consists of four semesters of full-time course work including classroom, laboratory and clinical learning experiences.
