The Department of Agricultural Sciences at Morehead State University offers a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science. The program covers all aspects of pre-veterinary medicine including all pre-veterinary requirements for all of the major Colleges of Veterinary Medicine in the U.S. In addition, the program provides "hands-on" opportunities in various animal health and disease laboratories.
- Veterinary Technology
The Department of Agricultural Sciences at Morehead State University offers both an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology. Students in the program develop their skills on a wide variety of animals and take courses that contribute to their understanding of animal care and nursing. Clinical training is on actual animal patients (not simulated) and is completed at the MSU Veterinary Technology Small Animal Teaching Hospital, Equine Health and Education Center, and farm areas of the Derrickson Agricultural Complex.
