    • Exercise Science, Bachelor of Science

      Exercise Science is the study of anatomical and physiological aspects of exercise and human performance.  Career opportunities include corporate and clinical fitness, cardiac rehabilitation, sports conditioning, injury prevention, personal training and rehabilitation and coaching. Students who graduate from this program will also be able to attend physical or occupational therapy school.

    • General Agriculture

      The General Agriculture Program at Morehead State University is an option of the area of concentration in agricultural sciences. Agriculture core courses are provided as the framework for the degree with ancillary courses in animal science, horticulture, agronomy, agribusiness and agriculture mechanics. It is a diverse agricultural program providing hands-on opportunities in various animal and plant laboratories.

    • General Chemistry Major

      General Chemistry Major is a broad degree in chemistry and is useful for many different career choices. Many students in the pre-health careers opt for this degree because they would like to have a Major/Minor rather than an Area degree. Students wanting to pursue a career in chemistry may also take this, though it does not have the same depth as the Professional Chemistry Area.

    • Geology & Earth Systems Science

      The bachelor's degree in Earth System Science provides the knowledge and the skills to make observations and informed interpretations about the nature of the Earth and its relation to human activities. The geologic history and processes that drive the earth system (Plate Tectonics and Climate) provide insights that permit predictions relevant to natural resource management, geologic hazards and basic land use. The area of concentration is intended for students who desire rigorous, broad-based preparation in most of the subdisciplines within geology. This program is strongly recommended for students who wish to attend graduate school in a geosciences area.

    • Golf Course Management

      The Golf Course Management Program at Morehead State University is an option of the area of concentration in agricultural sciences. Agriculture core courses are provided as the framework for the degree with ancillary courses in landscape maintenance and management, sports marketing, business management and other associated topics. The program provides hands-on opportunities in various plant laboratories. Additionally, students get first-hand exposure to course content at Eagle Trace Golf Course, a University owned and operated 18-hole golf course.

    • Health Promotion, Bachelor of Science

      Health promotion has an emphasis on overall wellness and how best to help individuals and communities achieve a state of wellness.  It uses educational process as well as skill development to help individuals and groups achieve and maintain wellness.

    • Health and Physical Education, Bachelor of Science

      Health and Physical Education teacher education prepares individuals to work in a public or private school setting, creating and implementing programs designed to enhance the overall health and wellness of children from preschool through high school.

    • Horsemanship Minor

      The student must complete a minimum of 21 semester hours of agriculture courses and a major in another field. General course electives may also be taken in horsemanship, agriculture and related areas by students wishing greater depth in horsemanship.

    • Horticulture

      The Horticulture Program at Morehead State University is an option of the area of concentration in agricultural sciences. Agriculture core courses are provided as the framework for the degree with ancillary courses involving the operation and maintenance of nurseries and greenhouses, landscape design, construction and maintenance and various production courses. This program provides hands-on opportunities in various plant laboratories and greenhouses.

    • Industrial Education - Engineering and Technology, Bachelor of Science

    • Industrial Education - Occupation-Based Career and Technical Education, Bachelor of Science

      Industrial Education - Career and Technical Education (CTE), Bachelor of Science   

    • Integrated Science Minor

      The integrated science minor is a good supplement to a variety of science-related degree programs, including earth science, space science, biology and chemistry. 

    • Leadership in Medical Imaging - Bachelor of Science in Imaging Sciences

      The Leadership in Medical Imaging online bachelor’s degree is designed to prepare working technologists, radiation therapists and sonographers to be competent leaders in imaging sciences. MSU offers one of the few online bachelor's degrees in radiology/imaging sciences in the country. Students can work full-time and complete their baccalaureate degree at the same time to prepare them for a leadership role in Imaging Sciences.

    • Master of Science in Clinical Psychology

      The department of psychology offers a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology degree. The program is accredited by the Masters in Psychology Accreditation Council (MPAC). 

    • Master of Science in General-Experimental Psychology

      The department of psychology offers a Master of Science degree in General-Experimental Psychology.

    • Math Area of Concentration, Bachelor of Science

       

      The Mathematics Area of Concentration is designed for those who wish to enter graduate school in mathematics or a related discipline.

    • Math Area of Concentration, Teaching Option, Bachelor of Science

      The teaching option of the Mathematics Area of Concentration is geared toward those who want to be secondary school teachers with a strong background in mathematics.

    • Math Major, Bachelor of Science

       

      The B.S. in mathematics provides a solid mathematical background in theory and computational techniques that prepares students for numerous careers in industry, businesses, and academia.

    • Math Major, Teaching Option, Bachelor of Science

      The teaching option of the Mathematics major is geared toward those who intend to be teachers of mathematics in secondary schools.

    • Nursing-Associate of Applied Science

      The Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADNP) is a program of study leading to an associate of applied sciences degree (AAS) with an area of concentration in nursing. The program combines general education studies with nursing theory and clinical education. The program is designed to prepare graduates for a career as a registered nurse. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
