    • Leadership in Medical Imaging - BS in Imaging Sciences

      The Leadership in Medical Imaging Program at Morehead State University is an Area of Concentration in the Imaging Sciences baccalaureate degree program.  The program is offered online and is available to registered practitioners in therapeutic and imaging sciences. This program allows the student to complete the required courses part-time and is planned for the working practitioner who wants to pursue a leadership role in imaging sciences.  Following admission, the student should contact the assigned advisor and file an official check sheet.

    • Math Area of Concentration, Non-Teaching Option, Bachelor of Science

      The Mathematics Area of Concentration is designed for those who wish to enter graduate school in mathematics or a related discipline.

    • Math Area of Concentration, Teaching Option, Bachelor of Science

      The teaching option of the Mathematics Area of Concentration is geared toward those who want to be secondary school teachers with a strong background in mathematics.

    • Math Major, Non-Teaching Option, Bachelor of Science

      The B.S. in mathematics provides a solid mathematical background in theory and computational techniques that prepares students for numerous careers in industry, businesses, and academia.

    • Math Major, Teaching Option, Bachelor of Science

      The teaching option of the Mathematics major is geared toward those who intend to be teachers of mathematics in secondary schools.

    • Nursing - AAS

      The Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADNP) is a program of study leading to an Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) Degree with an area of concentration in nursing. The program combines general education studies with nursing theory and clinical education. The program is designed to prepare graduates for the role of the registered nurse. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The ADNP offers courses at both the Morehead Campus and the Mt. Sterling Extended Campus via interactive television (ITV).
      The program has a selective admission process and limited enrollment. Students are admitted twice yearly, with classes beginning in January and August. The qualified applicant must meet prerequisites and admission criteria as outlined in the ADNP Admission Criteria. Following admission into the program, the program consists of four semesters of full-time course work including classroom, laboratory and clinical learning experiences.

    • Nursing - AAS, Paramedic to RN Track

      The Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADNP) is a program of study leading to an Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) Degree with an area of concentration in nursing. The program combines general education studies with nursing theory and clinical education. The program is designed to prepare graduates for the role of the registered nurse. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The ADNP offers courses at both the Morehead Campus and the Mt. Sterling Extended Campus via interactive television (ITV).

      The program has a selective admission process and limited enrollment. Students are admitted twice yearly, with classes beginning in January and August. The qualified applicant must meet prerequisites and admission criteria as outlined in the ADNP Paramedic-ADN Track Admission Criteria. Applicants must hold an active paramedic national certification, with no restrictions and have an equivalent of one year of experience. Following successful completion of the NURA 111: Paramedic/ADN Transition course and admission into the program, the program consists of four semesters of full-time course work including classroom, laboratory and clinical learning experiences. 

    • Nursing - BSN Pre-licensure Program

      This option is for those students who want to enter graduate school in physics and who have a strong interest in computational physics.

    • Physics Area of Concentration, Engineering Physics (Electrical) Option, Bachelor of Science

      This option is for those interested in electrical engineering. The program offers the 3-2 option in which by transferring to an engineering program to complete the last two years, students get a dual degree in physics and engineering.

    • Physics Area of Concentration, Engineering Physics (Mechanical) Option, Bachelor of Science

      This option is for those interested in mechanical engineering. The program offers the 3-2 option in which by transferring to an engineering program to complete the last two years, students get a dual degree in physics and engineering.

    • Physics Area of Concentration, Teaching Option, Bachelor of Science

      This option is for those interested in teaching physics in secondary schools.

    • Physics Major, Applied Physics Option, Bachelor of Science

      The B.S. in physics provides a solid background in physics and mathematics. Students prepare to enter graduate and/or engineering school, a career as a professional in industry or secondary science teaching. The program offers the 3-2 option in which by transferring to an engineering program to complete the last two years, students get a dual degree in physics and engineering.

    • Physics Major, Professional Physics Option, Bachelor of Science

      The B.S. in physics provides a solid background in physics and mathematics. Students prepare to enter graduate and/or engineering school, a career as a professional in industry or secondary science teaching. The program offers the 3-2 option in which by transferring to an engineering program to complete the last two years, students get a dual degree in physics and engineering.

    • Professional Chemistry Area

      The professional Chemistry Area is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in a chemistry laboratory, industrial, government or academic. 

    • Psychology - Bachelor's Degree (Area of Concentration)


      The department of psychology offers a Bachelor's Degree Program with an Area of Concentration in Psychology. The Area of Concentration in Psychology is similar to the Major in Psychology except that (1) students are not required to complete a minor and (2) students are required to take more psychology courses.

    • Psychology - Bachelor's Degree (Major)


      The department of psychology offers a Bachelor's Degree Program with a Major in Psychology. The Major in Psychology is similar to the Area of Concentration in Psychology except that (1) students must complete a minor and (2) students are not required to take as many psychology courses.
