The Animal Science Program at Morehead State University is an Option of
the Area of Concentration in Agricultural Sciences. It is a bachelor
degree program covering all aspects of agricultural enterprises in
association with livestock in the Region. Agriculture core courses are
provided as the framework for the degree with ancillary courses in
animal production and management, reproduction, breeding, and
nutrition. This program provides "hands-on" opportunities in various
animal laboratories and at the Derrickson Agriculture Complex, the
University's 325 acre working farm, which houses horses, beef cattle,
swine, and sheep. |
