MISSION and GOALS

The Academy Vision

As the result of excellent professional development, delivered in a variety of creative ways, Kentucky’s adult educators are prepared to engage adult learners in strategies that lead toward educational and personal success.

The Academy Mission 

  • To work in partnership with Kentucky Adult Education (KYAE) to assess practitioner and program needs
  • To work in partnership with KYAE to develop and provide a comprehensive offering of professional development activities that help practitioners meet state, programmatic, and learner goals
  • To reflect favorably on the history of Morehead State University as a leader in adult literacy.
