Getting Started at the Adult Learning Center
Call (606) 783-2871 to register for orientation
(1) At orientation learn about available services and complete a series of initial assessments.
The General Educational Development certificate, or GED, is a high school equivalency diploma recognized by businesses, technical colleges and universities.
The GED test may be administered to anyone who
(1) is 19 years of age (Applicants 16-18 years of age may take the GED after being officially withdrawn from public or private school for a minimum of 90 days.),
(2) is a Kentucky resident and,
(3) has passed the official practice GED.
The practice GED is administered, free of charge, at the MSU Adult Learning Center.
