Welcome from the Associate Provost
I would like to personally welcome you to the Department of Academic Outreach and Support. You will find staff dedicated to your success as a student, community volunteer, or citizen. Whether you are a student in middle school or high school, working on your GED, starting your university experience, returning to school, graduating from Morehead State University, or beginning your professional career, Academic Outreach and Support is committed to assisting you in achieving your educational and career goals. The Department is also dedicated to providing meaningful volunteer service experiences in our communities and public schools.
To achieve this mission of access to Continuing and Higher Education, Academic Outreach and Support provides credit and non-credit classes, degree programs, and services through our regional campuses, online and interactive television systems, and outreach programs such as TRIO, GEAR UP, GED on KET, and Today’s Youth. We assist students to achieve success and graduation through Academic and Career Services, First Year Programs and Retention, and Student Support Service programs. We help people give back to their communities through our Retired Senior and Volunteer Program and AmeriCorps Program.
For more information about our classes, degree programs, and services, please review our web site, or contact our office by calling 606-783-2005.
Dan Connell, Ed.D.
