Process for Taking Classes Online
Getting started on the right track is an important first step in online learning. Completing the following checklist will ensure that you have the information you need to make your online learning experience an enjoyable one.
The process begins with setting up your student web account. Your student web account gives you the ability to manage your academic and financial information online. You will need your MSU student ID number to complete this step. You may want to print this page as a reference before continuing. If you have not established your student web account, go to student online services and select Eagle Account Center from the Quick Login drop down box. Once you are in the Eagle Account Center, enter your MSU ID and initial password. Your initial password is the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number + the two digits of your birth month + the two digits of your birth day + the four digits of your birth year (do not add the + sign and there are no spaces between the numbers). Note: If someone at MSU has assisted you with registration, you do not need to repeat this process. You can skip step 1 and go to step 2.
