All faculty, staff, students and general public are welcome to visit this event in the Library Commons area. There will be book displays available to select books to read from, or check out from the library to read at your leisure. Anyone is welcome to read aloud from a work published by an African American, and we will also have several special guest speakers throughout the day. Guest speakers have been scheduled in line with class starting times this year.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day, most especially during our extra special guests Ricardo Nazario y Colon and Crystal Wilkinson.
