Tony is a native of Wichita, KS. He attended Cowley County Community College and received a Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. He then attended Wichita State University where he continued to study Criminal Jusitce. After finishing school at WSU, Tony accepted a position as the Strength & Fitness Director and the Assistant Cheerleading Coach at Barton County Community College. For the three years he was at Barton, he led them to three top five finishes at nationals. After coaching at Barton, Tony accepted a position at Wichita State University as a cheer coach, where he was successful at the national level for two years, including a second place finish. In addition to coaching at WSU, he was also a tumbling director and head co-ed cheerleading coach at Extreme Athletics All-Star Academy.
Tony is an instructional staff member for Universal Cheerleader's Association (UCA). He has worked for UCA for the last twelve years. He is currently a Head Instructor, member of the UCA College Staff, and a member of the UCA Work Week Training Staff. Tony has also helped choreograph for the UCA Collegiate Program. In addition to working with UCA, he has choreograped many high school, all-star, and college teams around the country on the regional and national level. Tony has been a judge for UCA and various organizations at the local, regional, and national level for high school, all-star, and college competitions for ten years. He is a member of the UCA Rules Commitee. Tony is trained and certified with AACCA (American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators). Tony has also been named the 2009 Head Coach for Team USA All-Girl. Team USA is an international team that will compete for a world title this spring.
Tony is currently in his fifth year as the Head Cheerleading Coach and the Spirit Coordinator for Morehead State University. He has led the MSU Cheer Teams to 8 National Championships in the last five years. In 2009, he coached the Co-ed to their 8th consecutive National Championship and 19th overall for Morehead State University. MSU has won a unprecedented total of 25 College National Championships.
