The mission of the Space Science Center is to provide an educational and research facility to support research in space science and astrophysics.

• Space Systems Development • Small Satellites and Cubesats • Micro/nano technologies • Space Communication Systems • MEMS Antenna Design and Characterization • Wireless Telecommunication Systems
2. Engaging in fundamental observational astrophysics:
•Radio Astronomy Research in:
Microvariability in Active Galactic Nuclei
Radio Afterglow of Gamma Ray Bursts
Sky Surveys (HI Studies of Galactic Dynamics)
3. Providing satellite mission and operations support
4. Providing academic programs in space science and engineering
5. Providing education and public outreach opportunities in space science
6. Generating a technological workforce for space technologies and terrestrial wireless communication technologies
