The Jasper String Quartet is MSU's Artist's in Residence in Strings during November 1-3. In conjunction with this residency, the members of the quartet will conduct workshops, master classes and hold rehearsals with string students from MSU and from the tri-state area who are participating in MSU's Chamberfest, tomorrow, November 2, and the Virginia R. Harpham Honor String Orchestra Day held in Baird on Saturday, November 3.
Middle and high school students in string who are participating in the 7th Annual Virginia R. Harpham Honor String Orchestras Clinic on Saturday, November 3, are also invited to participate in MSU's Chamberfest, which brings together chamber groups from area high schools to share in the process of studying repertoire,coaching intensively with members of the Jasper String Quartet, participating in a master class, and performing as chamber ensembles in a recital setting.
