Outdoor Adventures is Currently Hiring Outdoor Enthusiast . 

Outdoor Adventures has 3 possible areas of employment, however it is possible for an individual to work in all 3 areas.


Rental Technician- In this job students will have the opportunity to work hands on with all the equipment that we have available for our students to rent.  Responsibilities include customer service relations, gear maintenance and providing information about our program. If you love working with Kayaks, Mountain bikes, Tents, Hammocks and a wide range of other gear this is the place for you!  You also receive free rentals and 10% off on all OA Trips!



Challenge Course- In this job students will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of participants ranging from student organizations, non-profit organizations, corporate groups and even other universities.  The Challenge Course consist of 9 High Elements and 10 Low Elements, which are meant to help assist with group dynamics in relation to team building.  Whether you have experience or none at all we provide the necessary training/certifications in order for you to comfortably facilitate any group on the course.  If you have a outgoing and positive personality this is the place for you!


Trip Leader-  In this job students will have the opportunity to lead fellow students and community members on trips ranging from simple Hiking/Camping to Skiing and Rock Climbing!  If you love the outdoors and want to be paid for having fun than this is the job for you.  All Trip Leaders are required to have a Wilderness First Aid or a Wilderness First Responder in order to lead students.  However, if you do not already possess one, we will take care of the certification for you!  Trip Leaders will also be required to take PHED 200 offered in the spring, but you may still be hired as a Trip Leader, while enrolled in the class.  Trip Leaders take care of the safety of participants and facilitate overall group fun.  If you love to meet new people and have a passion for the outdoors this is the job for you!
