Dance Faculty “MSU is a great place for the experienced to novice dancers to learn, create, hone their craft, and become an artist within the field of dance. The MSU Dance Ensemble also provides wonderful opportunities for dancers to work with nationally & internationally recognized choreographers, perform on campus, tour within the community, and perform at regional or national dance festivals. Through a positive, energetic, and passionate learning environment, MSU Dance truly is artistry in motion!”

Image - Gold Square "Morehead State University holds a certain place in my heart. This is where I learned that costumes is not just a hobby, this is a career.  This is where I learned to stretch my mind and imagination as an actress, technician, and designer.  The theatre program gave all students the chance to thrive and succeed. Now, returning to MSU as a member of faculty,  I still find that the MSU theatre program is an aspiring environment for students to develop into their future selves.  The facilities and  faculty members here are fantastic and determined to help all that desire to succeed do so."

Pamela Workman is the Costume Shop Supervisor and Instructor of Theatre at Morehead State University. She teaches the Costume Construction I courses. Previously she has taught, at other institutions, the courses of Makeup Design, Costume Construction, Theatre Aesthetics for Non-majors, Costume Design, and co-taught Intro to Technical Theatre.

Pamela received her Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Design from the University of Oklahoma. She is an Alum from MSU where her majors were Theatre and History. Pamela gained her Bachelor of Arts in 2006. She has worked in theatres on both the professional and educational levels in areas of design, stitching, cutting, and technician.

Pamela has a husband, Jason, and two sons, Cedryk and Brenyn. As a family they enjoy cooking, baking, Renaissance Faires, and Harry Potter.

Music Education, Ashland, KY "Music education at MSU has provided me with a multitude of opportunities to enrich myself musically, intellectually and academically. The faculty is world-class. They truly care about their students and are invested in our futures as music educators. I am so very thankful for the care and preparation I have been given at MSU! I wouldn't trade my experience as a music education major for the world."
