In
choosing the Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology option, students
will comprehensively study the diverse areas of electronics and
telecommunications and fully understand the role of electricity in modern
devices. The course work will be in areas such as digital electronics, analog
circuits and devices, communication circuits, microprocessor electronics,
communication systems, computer networks, fiber optics, computer electronics,
and
wireless technologies.
The Electronics & Computer
Engineering Technology option will prepare students for positions such as
Technical Managers in the electronics enterprise, Electronic Technician,
Computer Analyst, Network Analyst, Network Administrator, Network Manager,
Computer Hardware Engineer, Computer Support Specialist, and System
Administrator. With today's continual technological change in the electronics
field, a background in this option will keep you on the cutting edge of the
industry.

for specific courses for the option. To satisfy the mathematics requirement
of the program, a score of at least 20 on the Math portion of the ACT is
expected. Those students, desiring to enter the program, who do not possess
scores at 20 or above can be admitted provisionally to the program.
