Morehead State University supports the initiative for students to engage in research, scholarship, performance activities and creative works. Below are links to listings of awardees and their mentors organized by year:

Undergraduate Research News

  • The 8th Annual Celebration of Student Scholarship was held in the Adron Doran University Center on Wednesday, April 24 and spotlighted Morehead State University as a premier destination for all who desire the world-class education catalyzed by the dedicated mentorship of world-class faculty. President Wayne Andrews has said the celebration "is a time when we can all pause to reflect on the outstanding efforts of the community of scholars that empowers our diverse population of students to reach their educational goals." The 2013 Celebration featured 196 presentations that demonstrated the research and creative endeavors of 285 students and their 132 faculty mentors.   • Nineteen MSU students participated in the 2013 Posters-at-the-Capitol Thursday, Feb. 21, presenting a variety of research projects produced in collaboration with MSU faculty. Click here for the official press release; click here to view the photo gallery.
  • Congratulations to MSU Psychology grad student Katy Hauris! She took first place for her Psychology paper presentation at the Kentucky Academy of Science: Sex differences in complex learning after repeated METHtreatment in adolescence.Co-authors were Jessica Pita and Faculty Mentor Dr. Ilsun White.
  • Congratulations to MSU Psychology senior Gianni Maione! He took first place at the Kentucky Academy of Science for his undergraduate poster: Morphine administration during adolescence leads to learning deficits in adulthood. Co-authors were Rachael Whitley and Dr. Ilsun White.
