Belva Sammons Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
Awarded to students who have registered with the MSU Disability Services Office and have provided documentation of a qualifying disability and who have been determined by the Office of Financial Aid as financially eligible.

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must first apply to Morehead State University by completing the Admission and Scholarship Application (www.moreheadstate.edu/apply). In addition to the application, you need to send your 7-semester high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores to Enrollment Services, 100 Admission Center, Morehead, KY 40351.
Some scholarships require an additional application, which is provided below.
If you are a current student, you do not need to reapply for admission, but you will need to complete a supplemental scholarship application, if required.
RequirementsAwarded to students who have registered with the MSU Disability Services Office and have provided documentation of a qualifying disability and who have been determined by the Office of Financial Aid as financially eligible. Eligible recipients must have already completed at least one academic year at MSU and attained a minimum cumulative 2.80 GPA (using only MSU credits). Applicants must submit a completed MSU Scholarship Application Form along with two letters of endorsement from counselors, teachers, employers, and/or other individuals who know the student's character and performance potential. Additionally, a typed essay must accompany the scholarship application in which the applicant must describe their qualities and/or situations that he/she feels make him/her deserving of the scholarship.
