Application Procedure
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must first apply to Morehead State University by completing the Admission and Scholarship Application (www.moreheadstate.edu/apply). In addition to the application, you need to send your 7-semester high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores to Enrollment Services, 100 Admission Center, Morehead, KY 40351.
Your completed Undergraduate Admission and Scholarship Application must be received by March 1, to best compete for these attractive scholarships.

Be admitted to MSU as an entering freshman or as a transfer student with less than 24 total semester hours AND meet BOTH of the following requirements:
1. Be a legal resident of Kentucky; and
2. Demonstrate outstanding talent and ability through audition or portfolio review, whichever is appropriate to their discipline.
3. Be admitted and meet both: a minimum unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 or higher; and a minimum ACT composite of 22 or higher or New SAT combined score of 1530 or higher

Submit a completed application packet, including application form, transcript and test scores, by March 1.
NOTE: Students should apply as early as possible to ensure consideration, as funds are limited for these highly-competitive scholarships.Additional Information
This scholarship can be combined with the Eagle Excellence Award: KEESx2 Scholarship; or tuition waiver (MSU or state mandated). Students receiving outside scholarships, including KEES funds, and financial aid may not receive more aid than total cost of attendance.
Criteria for Renewal:
Achieve a minimum cumulative overall 2.75 MSU GPA in their first two semesters at MSU, with a minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA in their major. Each semester thereafter, maintain a minimum cumulative overall 2.75 GPA, with a minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA in their major; maintain continuous full-time enrollment (at least 12 hours) with MSU; and satisfy the Universityʼs housing policy. Scholarship is renewable and can be awarded for a total of 8 semesters.
Scholarship Recipient Expectations:
Scholarship recipients are encouraged to participate in the MSU Undergraduate Fellowship Program.
Recipients in Theatre and Dance will be expected to audition for plays or dance ensemble and/or participate in a technical shop appropriate to their area of interest. Participation in theatrical productions (at least one a semester) will be required, either on stage or as a technician/designer. Recipients are strongly encouraged to participate annually in the Southeastern Theatre Conference.
