Mary Lynne Albers, who joined the music faculty at MSU in 1970 as an Instructor of Oboe and Music Theory, was tragically killed in an automobile accident in 1975. In her memory, family and friends established this $300 scholarship award given to the outstanding student oboist at MSU. The music faculty selects the annual winner of this award.

Application Procedure
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must first apply to Morehead State University by completing the Admission and Scholarship Application (www.moreheadstate.edu/apply). In addition to the application, you need to send your 7-semester high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores to Enrollment Services, 100 Admission Center, Morehead, KY 40351.
Some scholarships require an additional application, which is provided below.
If you are a current student, you do not need to reapply for admission, but you will need to complete a supplemental scholarship application, if required.
