Ken Henderson, Associate Professor

Research Interests: Dr. Henderson's scholarly research has been published in numerous national and international peer-reviewed academic journals, including "Psychology & Marketing", "Journal of Marketing Perspectives", "Journal of Consumer Behavior", "Journal of Marketing Communication", "Journal of Product and Brand Management" and "Journal of Social Psychology". He has contributed to more than 60 academic conferences and book chapters including Academy of Business Research, Atlantic Marketing Association, Society for Marketing Advances, Marketing Management Association, Association of Marketing Theory & Practice, Association of Collegiate Marketing Educators and the Australia and New Zealand Marketing Educators' Conference (ANZMEC).
BioBefore earning a Ph.D. in marketing with a minor in communications from Florida State University, Dr. Ken Henderson held senior management positions at several financial institutions and consumer food corporations. Prior to joining MSU, Henderson held faculty appointments at Griffith University and Queensland University of Technology in Australia. He has won numerous marketing awards, including a national Addy award presented by the American Advertising Federation, for creating the best local market campaign; the College of Business and Public Affairs Dean’s Citation for Excellence in Teaching and the Dean’s Citation for Professional Achievement in Research; Best Lecturer Award at Queensland University of Technology; Florida State University Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Award, and Morehead State University Greek Council Master Teacher Award. Henderson is also a past research scholar at the Carnegie Campus Cluster to Develop Scholars of Teaching and Learning Program.
