Remote Area Medical Clinic Phone: 606-783-5396 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
RAM services are provided to those who are uninsured, underinsured, unemployed or otherwise cannot afford healthcare. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present at all times.
Patients will be accepted on a first‐come, first‐served basis. The clinic may not be able to provide services to everyone.
To be seen by a healthcare professional, you are required to have a ticket. Tickets will be given out beginning at 3 a.m. with doors opening at 6 a.m. The parking area for the clinic will open at midnight the day of the event.
You are asked to bring any current medications with you, and you may also want to bring a snack. This could be a long day, so please dress comfortably and be prepared to wait.
The Center for Regional Engagement will begin accepting volunteers for the RAM clinic beginning in June. For more information on how to sign up as a volunteer, visit msucares.volunteerhub.com.
While RAM services are free to the patients and all health care professionals are volunteers, there are still many costs associated with an event of this magnitude. The RAM organization will provide significant support, but our community will need to raise approximately $60,000 to ensure that we are able to treat as many patients as possible. The cost to sponsor one person who visits the clinic is approximately $100. Monetary contributions are currently being accepted and can be made online at www.moreheadstate.edu/giving. On the Make a Gift page, please select “Other” gift designation and signify RAM in the space provided.
If you are a healthcare professional and would like to volunteer for the RAM clinic, please visit www.ramusa.org.
