Criminology

Criminology is a growing field with numerous employment opportunities at local, state and federal levels.

This program focuses on understanding the causes of crime and the structure and operations of the criminal justice system.

Coursework opportunities include:

  • Global crime and terrorism
  • Working with offenders
  • Police culture

Consider minoring in Chemical Dependency Counseling. The minor provides additional preparation for students pursuing a career in the substance abuse field and complements degrees in social work and criminology.
