Bio
I am a graduate of Morehead State Universities Imaging Sciences Program that has returned to give back to my profession by developing future technologists. I am currently teaching in the Associate Degree program in the areas of Imaging Pathology, Radiographic Film Critique, Radiation Physics and Electronics, Anatomy and Positioning Labs, and Equipment Labs. I also teach Sectional Anatomy in the Leadership in Medical Imaging Program. I have achieved my certification in radiography, computed tomography, and nuclear medicine.
I am very active in our students’ activities and in my community’s activities in Fleming County where I reside. I coach soccer for the U-10 and U-12 age groups in the Fleming County Youth Soccer program and routinely help the Hillsboro Elementary School with various tasks.
In my profession I serve on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists’(ARRT) Computed Tomography Examination Committee, serve as Treasurer of the Kentucky Society of Radiologic Technologists (KSRT), and serve as Website Manager for the KSRT. Every year I represent the KSRT and ASRT in Washington D.C. as a lobbyist for the C.A.R.E. Bill.
