Bio
Lynda N. Donathan has been employed at Morehead
State University since 2005. Currently she serves as an Associate Professor in
the Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program, Leadership in
Medical Imaging Program and Radiologic Sciences Program. Prior to coming to
Morehead State she served as a Professor and Program Director for eleven years
and a Clinical Coordinator for one year at Central Kentucky Technical College
in Lexington.
Mrs. Donathan has completed three degrees from
Morehead State University: Master of Science in Vocational and Industrial
Education with a Certificate of Administration, Supervision & Coordination
in Vocational Education, Bachelor of University Studies, and Associate of
Applied Science in Radiologic Technology. Mrs. Donathan holds the following
certifications: certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in
radiography, mammography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging,
Certified Medical Assistant with the American Association of Medical
Assistants, Basic Life Support Instructor with the American Heart Association,
Quality Matters Master Reviewer and Quality Matters Peer Reviewer.
Mrs. Donathan is a member of local, state, and national professional
organizations. Service to these organizations includes appointment to the
Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences Research &
Scholarship Committee. She also serves as Board Member, Regional
Representative, and Awards Committee Chair for the Kentucky Association of
Career & Technical Education Special Needs Personnel. She has published
and made presentations about online learning.
She is a member of the
American Society of Radiologic Technologists, Association of Educators in
Imaging and Radiologic Sciences, Kentucky Society of Radiologic Technologists,
Kentucky Association of Career & Technical Education Special Needs
Personnel, Phi Kappa Phi, and the Kentucky Breast Cancer Coalition.
