Research Interests: Interests include student retention, online learning, cultural competency, and the use of service learning in the educational arena.
Dr. Clevenger began her nursing career in long term care as a MDS Coordinator and later appointed Director of Nursing for a nursing and rehabilitation center. She then joined an area medical center and worked on medical/surgical units and home health. Dr. Clevenger brings 17 years of clinical expertise into the classroom from her experience in Geriatrics, Long-term Care, Medical-Surgical, and Community Health Nursing.
