Chad Rogers served 10 years in the Kentucky National Guard as a medic supporting troop health for the 201
Engineering Battalion. During his time in the National Guard he served in Ecuador, Barbados and various in-state areas, providing multi-faceted levels of care.
Rogers graduated the paramedic training program at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. His main area of practice in emergency medicine was in a mill. He worked the ambulance and logged thousands of hours performing confined space rescue.
Rogers is a two-time graduate of MSU. He earned an associate of applied science degree in nursing in 2001 and a bachelor's of science degree in nursing in 2005. He also completed a master's degree in nursing with an emphasis in education in 2010.
Rogers has worked in the critical care setting in two area hospitals. He is a seasoned ICU and ER nurse. In addition to teaching Registered Nurses he also spent four years teaching Licensed Practical Nurses.
