Monica Magner Ed.D., Interim Department Chair
Program/Dept: Health Wellness and Human Performance
Degrees, Licensures and Certifications: M.A.degree in Motor Development and Ed.D. degree in Physical Education Teacher Education at West Virginia University.
Research Interests: Her research interests include collaborative activities in physical education and overweight and obesity in school age children. Dr. Magner acts as co-project director on grant programs funded through Health and Human Services related to improving physical activity and nutrition in both children and adults.
Bio Dr. Magner has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in motor learning and development, curriculum, physical education pedagogy and has supervised student teachers. She is serving as interim department chair for Health Wellness and Human Performance.
