Degrees, Licensures and Certifications: Master of Arts in Higher Education with an emphasis in organizational communication from Murray State University, and her undergraduate work was completed at Oklahoma Baptist University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
Bio
Dr. Hardman has completed 16 years at Morehead State University and is an Associate Professor of Health Education/Health Promotion. In this capacity, she teaches coursework in both the Health Promotion Major/Area of Concentration as well as in Health Education coursework for pre-service teachers. In addition to her over twenty years of teaching in higher education, Dr. Hardman has 28 years of clinical experience, as a registered nurse, that included pediatric and neonatal ICU, medical/ surgical, orthopedics, home health, and mental health. Through the years, she has worked with numerous community prevention grants that targeted a variety of health initiatives in schools and the community at large. Some of these initiatives included substance abuse prevention, school safety, women’s health, early cancer detection, and cardiovascular health.
