The Wellness Program integrates the specialized skills of exercise prescription and program planning for health promotion. Career opportunities include wellness center, health departments, YMCA's, hospitals, clinics and community health agencies. This degree is offered online only.

Completion of an appropriate undergraduate major is required for unconditional admission to the Wellness Promotion area of specialization (exercise science, exercise physiology, health promotion, health education or physical education). Candidates with an undergraduate degree in another area may submit their transcript to the department for consideration. The appropriate faculty will make an admission status recommendation, and when appropriate, include a list of undergraduate prerequisites that must be successfully completed prior to unconditional admission.
Candidates must achieve a minimum combined score of 750 on the verbal and quantitative sections of the GRE or a scaled score of 380 or higher on the Millers Analogy Test.
