Bio
Joyce is the CTE Coordinator/Asst. Professor. Joyce holds a PhD from the University of Tennessee. Her masters and bachelors are from Morehead State University. She also holds administration certification for career and technical education.
Joyce has held several positions in education and industry. She has taught at both the secondary and postsecondary levels. She has worked as an administrator for the State Department of Education and Technical Education. In industry, she has worked as a general laborer in a foundry, a production staff person for a newspaper, a field technician inspecting sewer lines, and a production supervisor.
Joyce has presented at local, state, and national conferences, workshops, and seminars. She is a Past President of Kentucky’s Applied Technology Education Association which serves teachers in the state. She has served on two national boards and a Project Director for a federal project. She was the first female to graduate from Morehead State University with a BS in Industrial Arts.
