Bio

Jaclyne's earliest and fondest memories involved caring for animals. From mucking horse stalls to raising baby ducks, she always knew a career involving the feathered, furry or scaly would be paramount in her life. She began her college experience at Somerset Community College, obtaining a General Education Associate degree. She then continued her education at Eastern Kentucky University studying agriculture. Deciding she wanted to take a more direct approach to the animal industry- with both companion animals and livestock alike- she chose to transfer to Morehead State and study veterinary technology. At MSU she has had the opportunity to hone the important skills necessary for a career in animal medicine. MSU extends beyond the classroom environment, offering full access to a working farm, stables, kennels and clinic. Under the guidance of the knowledgeable professors, the possibilities in the flourishing profession of animal health are endless.
