Program Info
The bachelor's degree program in space science at MSU is one of only a few such programs nationwide offered at the undergraduate level. The presence of the 21-Meter Space Tracking Antenna and Radiotelescope (21m STA) on campus and the availability of the instruction facilities and laboratories at the Space Science Center provide a solid foundation for the program. Excellent faculty with diverse backgrounds in space-related science and technology allow students to learn from professionals with experience in the aerospace industry. The curriculum has been chosen to be rigorous but flexible. Graduates from the program will have breadth of knowledge, experience, skills and adaptability which are the marketable tools of new and exciting professional careers in space science and the telecommunications industry.
