Academics

Students are now able to apply an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees from Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) toward the completion of an online Bachelor of University Studies in Professional Studies at MSU. 

KCTCS graduates who meet the admissions requirements and academic policies of MSU will be eligible for admission to an online Bachelor of University Studies in Professional Studies degree program. This 2+2 agreement enables KCTCS graduates to complete a bachelor’s degree in the equivalent of two years of full-time study. It is specifically designed to be compatible with professional schedules and family commitments of adult students. Because it is a completely online program, KCTCS students who transfer into the program do not need to relocate to the MSU campus in Morehead.

Note: Credit earned by a combination of correspondence courses and credit by examination cannot exceed 32 semester hours toward a baccalaureate degree or 16 semester hours toward an associate degree.
