Bio

Jason graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Industrial Technology and an option in Construction Management Technology in May 2008. In the summer of 2010, he graduated with a Masters of Science in Engineering Technology from Morehead State.

Mr. Stepp worked with Packs', Inc in Morehead, KY for seven weeks after graduation before taking a position with Frontier Housing. His main duties with Frontier were managing the day-to-day construction operations dealing with Frontier's construction crew as well as sub-contractors. He was responsible for scheduling inspections, performing inspections for Frontier Housing, taking warranty claims, and following-up on warranty work.

After two months with Frontier Housing, Jason took the position of Laboratories and Facilities Manager for the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology at Morehead State University. His main duties as the Laboratories and Facilities Manager include the following:

Upgrade software, hardware and advanced technological equipment throughout AET programs/options
Preparation and maintenance of manufacturing and construction equipment inventory; ensure the relevance and functionality of all lab equipment
Administer promotional materials for IET programs/options and the IET Informer

Caiwu Ding
Caiwu Ding is a Graduate Assistant in the AET Department working under four professors. He concentrates his efforts on classes and labs for IET 315, IET 330, ITMT 286, ITMT 370, and IET 203. He is conducting research on the Optimization of a Ping Pong Vacuum Cannon system and is helping build a solar panel device. Caiwu is also a graduate student advisor for the AET Robotics Team.
