Bio

Soprano, Andrea Trusty is a native of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Ms. Trusty received her Master's of Music from Rice University, in Houston, Texas. While in Houston she sang with Rice University Symphony Orchestra in Mahler's Symphony No. 2. Along with concert work and private concerts Ms. Trusty has been honored by the Marilyn Horne Foundation in 2007 and 2009. Ms. Trusty has received numerous awards such Kentucky District Metropolitan Opera Winner 2011 and Mid-South Region Metropolitan Opera Winner 2011. She has received a citation from the  Kentucky State Senate for Excellence in the Arts, the Cecelia Bartoli Scholarship in Opera, and the Susan Jorgenson and Alice Gilaroo career scholarship. Ms. Trusty is a graduate of Morehead State University (2004) receiving her Bachelor's in Music.
