Each online and regional campus student is assigned an academic advisor to guide students during their academic career at Morehead State Univeristy.  Advisors work closely with students to select courses which will meet the requirements for their online or regional campus program.  For students with transfer credit from other institutuions, advisors will review the courses and determine how the previous credit fits their program at Morehead State Unversity.  Advisors help students plan out their degree program so they will graduate in a timely manner.  Advisors help students schedule courses, withdraw from classes if necessary, or change majors.  Advisors also provide information about professional and graduate schools and career opportunities.

Students with a declared major will be assigned an advisor from their major field of study.  If students do not have a major, they will be assigned an advisor from Academic Advising.
