Message from the Dean of Students

Photo: Max AmmonsDear Students,

Welcome back to campus. We continue to be a community on the move with improvements to the campus taking place all around us.  We still have a lot of construction taking place, but we are very close to the completion of many of our major construction projects. While all our students will benefit from the new developments, some students may become frustrated over inconveniences caused by our changes. We ask you to continue to be patient and plan ahead. What will not change, is our commitment to your success. We strive to ensure that your experience at MSU remains positive and that you continue to view our campus as your home away from home.

I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the Eagle Student Handbook and the Code of Conduct. The code is designed to protect individual rights and provide an environment conducive to student success and wellbeing. Collectively, we share the responsibility for upholding the core values of Morehead State University, keeping one another safe, and treating each other with dignity and respect. These expectations, coupled with accountability and responsibility, foster a positive educational experience for all students.  Let’s work together to make this year a progressive and proud experience for all.
